Biography
Dr. Sudheer O.V. joined Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in 1999 and is now working as Professor and Consultant in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery. He is currently in charge of Laparoscopic Surgery and Robotic Surgery. Dr. Sudheer is specialized in advanced laparoscopic surgery and is routinely performing bariatric surgery, minimally invasive colorectal surgery, esophageal surgeries and hepatopancreatobiliary surgeries. One of the pioneers in Kerala in laparoscopic surgery and bariatric surgery, Dr. Sudheer has performed the maximum number of minimally invasive oesophageal surgeries and bariatric surgeries in Kerala. He is keenly interested in laparoscopic hepatobiliary surgery other than bariatric and colorectal surgeries.
